T-2023-1009 - Construction - Gunyama Park Stage 2 & George Julius Avenue North

The City of Sydney ("the City") invites Requests for Tender to undertake construction works for Gunyama Park Stage 2 & George Julius Avenue North in accordance with this request.

This Project (the Project) will deliver the final portion of Gunyama Park (GPARC Stage 2) at 17 Zetland Avenue, Zetland, as well as a section of the new road, George Julius Avenue North. The project site is located within the Epsom Park Precinct in Zetland, which forms part of the broader Green Square Precinct.

GPARC Stage 2 includes a new park, amenities building, playground, landscaping, and skate park located east of the Gunyama Park Aquatic & Recreation Centre with its adjacent sports field. George Julius Avenue North, comprising a 23m wide road reserve with dual carriageway, planted centre median, street trees, parking lanes, footpaths and cycleway, will be located to the east of the new park.

The planning approval for the Project is the Review of Environmental Factors (REF) Version 1 dated 14 September 2023, prepared by Arnold Planning Pty Ltd.
