Supplementary air conditioning is needed most during peak times, so it can

- ensuring thermostats are not located near heat sources like photocopiers
- regularly cleaning or replacing filters
- controlling on/off times to reduce waste
- turning the thermostat up by one degree in summer and down one degree in winter
