Bike parking ring on city street lighting poles The City is improving facilities for cyclists in and around the city and encourages people to hop on their bikes and enjoy the benefits of cycling.

Parking rings

There are now over 400 free bike parking rings installed to the bottom of the City's street lighting poles.

U-rail parking

In addition, free u-rail pavement bike parking (see picture opposite) is available at the following CBD locations:

Town Hall, on the Druitt Street side of the building
Clarence Street, east-side between King and Barracks Streets
Watson Road, just north of Upper Fort Street
Castlereagh Street, west side, south of Bathurst Street
Cook + Phillip Park, adjacent to the aquatic and fitness centre

Parking stations

There are also some bike storage spaces available in the Goulburn Street Parking Station. Up to $2.00 flat rate applies. Refer to car park schedule of rates.
