Cycling Ambassadors

City of Sydney's Cycling Ambassadors, Ian Roberts and Nell Schofield

The City of Sydney has engaged Ian Roberts and Nell Schofields as our official City of Sydney Cycling Ambassadors.

Both Ian and Nell are avid bike riders, and will assist the City of Sydney by promoting this healthy, sustainable and fun activity.

Ian Roberts - is a former rugby league superstar and he maintains an active interest in health and fitness and now devotes much of his time to acting. He lives in the inner city suburb of Redfern.

Nell Schofield - writes and presents The Director's Cut each week on Showtime TV as well as reporting for ABC's Radio National on Arts Today and Breakfast. She is also one of Al Gore's Climate Project Presenters. Nell is an avid commuter bike rider who loves her folding bicycle and is living proof that glamour and cycling can go hand-in-hand.

City of Sydney Cycling Ambassadors have been engaged by the City's Marketing and Media Units to help raise awareness of the benefits of cycling and educate the community about the new cycleway infrastructure.
