Contra-flow bike lane without seperator

A contra flow bike lane allows bicycle riders to travel in the opposite direction to traffic in a lane on the side of the road, and with traffic in an existing lane shared with cars and other vehicles.
This allows bicycle riders to travel in both directions on streets that are one-way for motor vehicles. A contra-flow lane improves safety for bicycle riders travelling in the opposite direction to vehicles by providing them with a dedicated space on the road.
In a contra-flow cycleway without separator, the one-way bicycle lane is painted green but no physical separator is used to further demarcate it from the traffic lane. Bicycle logos are applied on both the contra-flow lane and the traffic lane advising the direction of travel.
