Warwick has a strong focus on international affairs. He is the Immediate Past Chair of the Australia China Business Council. He is the Deputy Chair of the Asia Society of Australia and a member on their International Advisory Council. He is also the Inaugural Australian Member for BOAO Forum for Asia.

Warwick Smith is the Chairman of the ANZ Banking Group for NSW and the ACT. Warwick is also the Chairman of the Advisory Board of Australian Capital Equity Pty Ltd (ACE) where he has a strategic focus on the Group’s international and domestic cross-sector activities, and the Chairman of E*TRADE.
Warwick has an extensive political background, having served as a Federal Government Minister and in a variety of public roles in a Parliamentary career spanning 15 years where he served in many portfolios, including Minister for Sport and Minister Assisting the Prime Minister for the 2000 Olympics.
