Thank you for celebrating Christmas 2007 with the City of Sydney

City of Sydney celebrated Christmas in true Australian style in 2007, providing a series of wonderful events and activities including our iconic Martin Place Children’s Christmas Concert, and concerts in Hyde Park, Alexandria, Surry Hills, Rushcutters Bay and Rosebery.

Areas were transformed with banners and decorations throughout our streets and public spaces to create a magical, united feel throughout the City and its villages.

We celebrated with roving retail entertainment, competitions for community and children, and our popular City of Sydney Christmas walk map featuring retail information, floral displays, carol singing, night time projections onto city buildings and entertainment.

This year, we have an even bigger and better line up of events planned and we look forward to welcoming you to our updated Christmas website, due live by October 2008.
