Food Services
The City of Sydney provides a Meals on Wheels service to frail aged residents and residents living with a disability. If you live within the Local Government Area and are unable to provide or prepare a nutritious meal for yourself, you are eligible for the service.
The City of Sydney aims to provide our food service for all members of the community who require our service. In addition to employing bilingual staff, we have translated our flyer into the seven most common community languages which are available for download.

How to Obtain Meals on Wheels
Referrals can be made by yourself, neighbour, friend or family. Referrals are also made by hospital staff, Community Nurses, General Practitioners and other health professionals. Following every referral a City of Sydney Community Worker will then discuss your dietary needs and preferences and organise the service for you. The Community Worker can also link you up with other support services based on individual need.
Your choice of hot, chilled or frozen meals can be delivered daily, Monday to Friday, at a cost of $4.80 per meal package. Bulk frozen meals are available on request.
A four week cyclic menu ensures you receive an excellent variety of tasty and appetising meals.
