Alexandria Child Care Centre is a licensed and accredited long day child care centre that caters for children aged from 6 weeks to 6 years of age.
Services
Staffed by experienced and qualified child care workers and teachers, the centre provides an educational environment for children with daily programs of hands-on learning through art and craft, language, music and physical movement and development. The centre also provides children with healthy, nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day.
There are five playrooms and children are grouped according to age so that developmentally appropriate activities can be provided.
Kuala Room - 10 children - 6 weeks - 12 months
Playroom 1 - 10 children - 12 months - 18 months
Playroom 2 - 10 children - 18 months - 2.5 years
Playroom 3 - 16 children - 2.5 years - 3.5 years
Playroom 4 - 20 children - 3.5 years - 6 years
Places
Priority is given to residents and workers in the City of Sydney and disadvantaged groups.
To apply for a placement at the centre, you will need to download and return an Alexandria Child Care Centre Waiting List Application Form.
Operating Hours
The centre is open from Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 5.30pm.
Alexandria Child Care Centre is closed on public holidays and for a short period over the Christmas/New Years break.
Fees
Child Care Fees:
- Under 3 years of age $69.00/ day
- Over 3 years of age $64.00/ day
Reduced fees are available for eligible families on low incomes.
