This large ornate main hall features high ceilings, polished floors, small stage, balcony and commercial kitchen.

Main Hall 17m x 9.6m
Stage 5.6m x 2.8m x 0.8m high.

Dinner 120 people
Dinner Dance 100 people
Cocktail Party 160 people
Theatre 150 people.

Operating Hours

7am to 12 midnight.

  • 12 round tables (each seating 8-10 people)
  • 12 trestle tables (each seating 8 people)
  • 150 chairs
  • lift
  • public address (PA) system with hearing loop (works best for people at seated at front of hall)
  • air conditioning
  • chair trolley.

Kitchen with:

  • warming oven
  • commercial oven
  • dishwasher
  • fridges
  • zip hot water
  • gas stove
  • stainless bench tops.

Disabled Access

Ramps at front of building lift to upper floors, plus disabled toilet.

Hire Fees

  • Monday to Friday up to 6pm: $41.50/hr
  • Monday to Friday after 6pm: $62/hr:
  • Saturday, Sundays and Public Holidays: $77.25/hr

Elections

  • All day and evening from 7am: $850.
  • Small Hall (at all the above before 5pm): $35
  • Small Hall (at all the above after 5pm): $50

Bond

A refundable bond of $310.

Local Community Organisations and Charity Functions

  • 50% discount on standard rates.

Further reductions are only available on request.

Special Considerations

  • noise – residential area, no amplified music
  • additional cleaning can be arranged
  • some functions may need security
  • not licensed – alcohol to be served via Gold Licence Caterer
  • office space occupied downstairs.

Transport

  • walking distance from Redfern or Central train stations
  • walking distance from Cleveland Street
  • bus 309 and 310 to corner Pitt and Redfern Streets.

Situated on the ground floor, this centre has a carpeted floor and is suitable for meetings, training programs and forums.
