Hephzibah Tintner Foundation
The Hephzibah Tintner Foundation
The Hephzibah Tintner Foundation aims to foster the careers of talented young Australians who have the potential to contribute significantly to the cultural and artistic life of Australia.
Experience is critical to artistic development, but can be particularly difficult to obtain. It is for that reason the Foundation aims to create outstanding opportunities in Australia or overseas for young artists.
A Fellowship will be awarded, providing study and/or training opportunities for young people in the field of music and dance, with a particular focus on production, direction, conducting or choreography.
Fellowships may involve a position with some of Australia’s leading cultural organisations, or another organisation nominated by the Fellowship recipient and approved by the Board.
A Board of Trustees, including some of the most highly respected people in their fields manage the Foundation.
The Trustees are Frank Sartor AO (Chair), John Kaldor AM, Graeme Murphy AM, Mary Polis and Simone Young.
An Advisory Committee of representatives from leading Australian cultural organisations will recommend Fellowship recipients. These organisations will include Opera Australia, Sydney Dance Company, Sydney Symphony Orchestra and The Australian Ballet.
