Local Community Grants Program

Now Open For Application

Applications Close: 6pm Monday 16 April 2012

The Local Community Grants Program provides funding of up to $5,000 per project to support work done by local community organisations based in, or providing events or services for, the City of Sydney Local Government Area.
The whole City of Sydney benefits greatly from work done by community organisations as their services, resources, events, projects, cultural experiences and community based activities enrich the life of the City.

This is a biannual program for which applications are accepted twice a year.

Community Information sessions

Will be held on the following days.

This is your opportunity to receive further information and speak to City staff.

The sessions are free and you are not required to book:

  • 27 February 2012, 11am
  • 27 February 2012, 6pm
  • 8 March 2012, 6pm

 

Where: Town Hall House, Level 1, 456 Kent Street, Sydney, (directly behind Sydney Town Hall)

The City is also hosting an information session specifically for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community at Redfern Community Centre on:

  • 1 March 2012, 6pm

Where: Redfern Community Centre, 29-53 Hugo Street, Redfern

Local Community Grants Program Round Two

A second round of the Local Community Grants Program will open in August 2012.
