All Australian photographers are invited to submit to Sydney Life, a large format photography exhibition, held each year in Hyde Park North.
Sydney Life Photography Exhibition and Prize (valued at $10,000)
This exhibition is a major component of Australia’s biggest public arts festival, Art & About and features 22 works by Australian photographers, displayed along the beautiful grand central walkway of Hyde Park North.
AMP Capital Investors is proud to join the City of Sydney in sponsoring the 2009 Sydney
Life Prize. The Sydney Life Prize will be awarded for the most outstanding work in the
exhibition, as decided by a distinguished panel of judges: Sandy Edwards (Producer,
ArtHere and Curator, Stills Gallery), Julie Rrap (Renowned Australian Artist), Malcolm
Smith, (Program Manager, Australian Centre for Photography), and Alastair Walton
(Director, City Engagement - City of Sydney).
The Sydney Life Prize is comprised of $5,000 cash from the City of Sydney, plus a $5,000 investment in an AMP Capital Sustainable Share Fund (refer to the Terms and Conditions set out in the Annexure). The total prize value is $10, 000.
The People’s Choice Award is sponsored by FUJIFILM Australia. The winning photographer will receive FUJIFILM Australia product worth $3,000 (RRP) which may include digital cameras, media cards, inkjet paper, film and online photo printing.
