Sonya will be at Ultimo Community Centre on Mondays and Tuesdays only.
For the rest of the week the Community Worker at Ultimo Community Centre is available Monday to Friday (appointments essential).

All Over 55s Centres are closed on public holidays.
Should the Centre be closing for a day due to staff training or illness, prior notice is given as soon as possible and alternative arrangements will be made.
The Centre office may also be closed at times when the Community Worker is making a home visit or accompanying an activity.
If you wish to speak with the Community Worker, please telephone the Centre first to confirm their availability and arrange an appointment.
Services
The Harry Jensen Centre offers a range of services to members, including:
- Accessible, air conditioned bus transport to and from the centre
- Meals on Wheels
- Meals on Wheels volunteering opportunities
- Affordable lunches
- Free computer usage with internet as well as free Wi-Fi
- Aqua fitness classes at Cook + Phillip Park Pool and Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre
- A Community Worker on-site who helps with activities and provides information, advocacy and support
- After hours venue hire
- Referrals to the South Sydney Community Transport shopping bus
- Basic podiatry clinic.
Activities
A variety of recreational activities are organised by the centre, including:
- Growing Older Living Dangerously (GOLD) programs for a healthy, active lifestyle
- Shuffleboard club competition and social games
- Aqua fitness classes at Cook+Phillip Park Pool
- "'Heart Moves" fitness classes at KGV Leisure Centre
- Computers and free wi-fi
- Snooker
- Bingo
- Board games
- Monthly half(staffed) and full-day bus trips
- Older Womens Network Programs (see www.own.org.au for details)
Facilities
- Air conditioned building
- Laundry available for use
- Abraham Mott Hall, which community groups can hire.
Membership and fees
To use the services and facilities at the Harry Jensen Centre, residents must become members. The membership fee is minimal and reviewed annually.
Please contact the centre for membership information. The Community Worker can help you apply for membership if you need assistance.
