Access & Inclusion People with a Disability

The City of Sydney is committed to being an inclusive and accessible city for people with disabilities and provides information and services catering specifically to our residents, workers and visitors with a disability.

Inclusion (Disability) Action Plan
To demonstrate its firm commitment to continually improving access for all City residents, visitors and people that work here, the City of Sydney Council endorsed the Inclusion (Disability) Action Plan for 2007-2011 in March 2008.

The City of Sydney is committed to making Sydney's Central Business District (CBD) more accessible to everyone.

Learn more about disability access at our Libraries, including building access, the home library service, audio books, assistive technology and more.

Meals on Wheels and Food Services
Our Meals on Wheels service is available to frail older residents, residents with a disability, their carers, and to people recovering from recent surgery or a chronic illness.

If you live in the City of Sydney Local Government Area and can’t shop for or prepare a meal for yourself, you may be eligible for the service.

Podiatry Service
Members of the City’s Over 55 Activity Centres can use this low cost podiatry service to keep their feet healthy.
