Strategic Plan 2006 - 2009
Council's primary role is to meet the needs of its residents and ratepayers, though it recognises that the City of Sydney is also ‘owned’ by many people from beyond our boundaries.
Therefore our leadership role has many dimensions. It is decisive, cooperative, strategic and participatory. It provides inspiration to be fair and compassionate.
The Strategic Plan reaffirms this vision of Sydney and Council's commitment to ensure provident governance in all of its activities and operations.
