Chippendale Traffic Study

Please Note: the exhibition period for this item has now closed.

Our aim is to work in partnership with the local community to develop a plan to improve the street, footpaths, and public spaces of Chippendale.  Members of the community assisted the City in providing feedback on the ideas the City has for Chippendale and also to help us determine which projects were more important than others.  The workshop and other submissions received from the community were used to compile the Chippendale Improvement Plan.

The Chippendale Improvement Plan was endorsed by Council on the 7 May 2007, and the City has begun implementing the plan.

The first project to be implemented is the Traffic Study for Chippendale.  A community meeting planned for 16 June 2007 was cancelled due to inclement weather. The City has also received a number of requests to complete a parking study as part of the Traffic Study.  The City has decided to undertake the Parking Study now.
