Draft Planning Agreement : 123-129 Wyndham Street , Alexandria NSW 2015

The City of Sydney proposes to enter into a Planning Agreement relating to the Development Application D/2011/697.

Location: 123-129 Wyndham Street , Alexandria  NSW  2015

The objective of the Planning Agreement is to secure public benefit works in connection with the development application for the site. The development involves the provision of bonus floor space amounting to 1417sq. metres of Gross Floor Space.

The nature of the Planning Agreement is to secure the following public benefit works:

(a)     Undergrounding of power cables along the south west and north east sides of Wyndham Street from the intersection of Power Avenue and Wyndham Street extending approximately 140 metres south west along Wyndham Street.

(b)     Undergrounding of cables is proposed to include:

i)    The removal of approximately five above ground power poles and associated equipment and wires; and,

ii)   The installation of new street lighting poles.

(c)    The Planning Agreement also requires that a monetary contribution of $ 141,700 be paid towards the redevelopment of Green Square Town Centre.
