Planning Proposal: Amendment of South Sydney Local Environmental Plan 1998 for 301-303 Botany Road, Waterloo.

The City is exhibiting a Planning Proposal for the site at 301-303 Botany Road, Waterloo. The site is one of the 19 development sites within the Green Square Town Centre, a Planner Major Centre located adjacent to the Green Square Railway Station.

The Planning Proposal seeks to amend the South Sydney Local Environmental Plan 1998 land use mix controls to allow for an increase in retail and residential floorspace and a decrease in commercial floorspace. No other changes are proposed.

The site is not within the Landcom / Mirvac / Leighton landholding, for which a separate Planning Proposal is currently on public exhibition.

Note: The public exhibition of the planning proposal is a statutory exhibition in accordance with the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, and follows approval from the Minister for Planning for community consultation.

Submissions are voluntary and the intended recipients of this information will be Council staff and the general public by document access request.
