Street and Park Naming Proposals in Green Square and Ashmore precinct
Please Note: the exhibition period for this item has now closed.
What do you think of the new street, open space and parkland names proposed for Green Square and Erskineville’s Ashmore precinct?
Derived from South Sydney’s people, history, landscape and industrial past, the names have been put forward for 43 streets, 14 open spaces, 12 street extensions and two increased parklands.
Proposed names acknowledge the wetlands that once existed in the area and the district’s native birdlife.
The names will be on exhibition from Tuesday 22 November 2011, to Tuesday 20 December 2011.
On Exhibition
