Your assessment number is located on the top right hand corner of your Rate Notice. Enter all 7 digits.

Refund Statement

It is the responsibility of the cardholder to verify an approved payment in the instance where a payment is made in error and a refund is required.

It is preferred that the cardholder advise his/her own financial institution to instigate a payment reversal. This will ensure the refund is made directly to the credit card.

If the Council is required to make a refund, verification will be required in the form of

  1. Receipt Number
  2. Details of Payment (time, date and amount of transaction)
  3. Credit Card Statement

A refund of the verified payment will either be made in the form of a cheque or Electronic Funds Transfer approximately two weeks after the payment is verified.
