Turruwul Park and Tarakan Reserve, Rosebery

Overview

The City has completed the upgrade of Turruwul Park Rosebery.

Specific improvement works comprised:

  • The construction of a new playground
  • New park boundary paths
  • New park furniture and lighting
  • The planting of additional trees and shrubs
  • The creation of new barbeque and picnic area
  • Resurfacing of the 2 existing tennis courts and the provision of netball courts line markings and hoops
  • Upgraded cricket nets and a basket ball hit up wall area
  • The construction of a new kiosk, toilet and change room facilities.

 

Officially opened 22 November 2008

Bookings for the soccer field and tennis courts can be made through the City’s parks booking office.
