Community Consultation

It is important to involve and consult the community throughout the making of the City Plan. Given the size and the diversity of the City LGA a number of different methods of communication and information sharing will be used.

There will be public meetings, forums and presentations provided to involve the community on specific projects.  Exhibition of material related to some projects will also occur and give opportunities for the community to provide input and feedback.

Information about meetings will be notified on the website, in local papers, in Council newsletters and invitations to meetings will be distributed in relevant neighbourhoods.

Summaries of presentation material will be posted on this website where available.
