Standard Conditions of Development Consent
About the Standard Conditions
Every consent issued by Council has conditions which are designed to improve the outcome of the development process. Conditions can be specific to a development consent or common to many development consents. The ones common to many or all developments are considered standard conditions.

Adoption of these Standard Conditions substantially reduces the volume of paper used in the printing of Council agenda papers by removing the necessity of printing in detail multiple standard conditions in each development application report.
The Standard Conditions are reviewed and updated by Council periodically. A copy of the current version will appear on the City’s website with the reports to be considered by the Council’s Committees and Council.
Earlier versions are archived below and available for viewing and download to correspond to applications previously considered by Council. The date of your consent should correspond to the date on the version of the Standard Conditions you need to access.
