City of Sydney provides a range of free workshops. Learn how to make practical changes to green your home by installing solar, starting a worm farm or filling your balcony or garden with fresh fruit and veggies. Green Living Centre also offers a range of free workshops in Newtown to help you green your home and reduce your footprint.
You could also borrow a Power-Mate from City of Sydney Libraries and subscribe to the City’s Green Village News to have the latest sustainability initiatives, information on rebates and tips for green city living delivered to your inbox each month.
City of Sydney supports a number of environmental sustainability programs for business. CitySwitch Green Office works with commercial office tenants to reduce their carbon impact by addressing energy efficiency. Smart Green Business aims to help businesses save on water and energy costs and reduce waste. Environmental upgrade finance helps commercial property owners and tenants fund building upgrades to improve environmental performance.
