Friends of the Library Benefits
- Extended loan period of 5 weeks (instead of 3 weeks)
- Entitled to borrow 25 items (instead of 20 items)
- Reduced charges at Friends' functions and activities
Friends of Benledi and Glebe Library
Friends of Benledi and Glebe Library is an organisation of volunteers who support the Glebe Library branch through fundraising activities.
The Friends actively support the library by:
- providing extra services specifically for the Glebe community
- promoting the library's vision
- organising an annual book fair in May during Australian Library and Information Week
- inviting guest speakers and authors throughout the year
Membership
Meetings are
on the third Wednesday of every month at 7pm,
held in Benledi. All are welcome to attend and the cost of joining is only $10 per year for adults ($8 concession).
