Library Readers' Groups

Readers' Groups (or Book Clubs) are a great way to share and experience books. The library's Readers' Groups are free and provide an opportunity to socialise in a relaxed atmosphere.
There are no meetings on public holidays.

NEW! Customs House Library  

3rd Thursday of the month at 5.30pm to 6.45pm

A readers' group at Customs House Library has recently been formed, new members are welcome! If you would like to join this group, please contact 9265 9102 or email lwilson@cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au

Glebe Library

4th Friday of the month at 2pm to 3:30pm

All welcome! The Readers' Group at Glebe Library is new and is currently looking for members. Please email your contact details to Marie Crilley, Adult Programmes Co-ordinator, email mcrilley@cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au or telephone 02 9242 8567.

King Cross Library

2nd Saturday of the month at 2:15pm - 3:45pm

All welcome! The Readers' Group at Kings Cross Library is still establishing numbers and is currently looking for members.

Meeting place is the Audiovisual area on Level 1 of the Kings Cross Library.

Ultimo Library

1st Wednesday of the month at 5:30pm - 7pm

Waterloo Library

The Readers' Group at Waterloo Library is now full and is no longer looking for members. For general information please email Marie Crilley, Adult Programmes Co-ordinator, email mcrilley@cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au or telephone 02 9242 8567.

Readers Groups Backgroung information -
in 2006 the City of Sydney Library Network conducted an in-library survey, across all branches, on patrons' interest in 'Readers' Groups'. The positive feedback resulted in these Readers' Groups being established.
