If the title you need is 'On Shelf' at another location request a free branch-to-branch transfer.
To request transfers:
- Find the title in the catalogue | Not listed?
- Click 'More detail'
- If the item is 'On-Shelf'
- Click the 'Reserve' button | NOTE: a $1.50 reservation fee will apply if the item is out on loan
- Login*
- Click 'OK'
- 'Collect At' | select a location
- Click the 'Reserve' button
Allow two (2) working days for delivery | pick-up from 3:00pm on day of delivery |

To request items:
- Login*
- Click on the tab "Buy the Title to Add to our Collections"
- Fill in the request form
- Optional | a $2.50 fee applies if you tick the box "Upgrade your suggestion to a request (and reserve it for you if it's acquired)"
- Click the "Save" button

To place reservations:
- Find the title in the catalogue | Not listed?
- Check the number of already placed reserves, if any (red text under the title information | e.g. ' 0 of 3 items available. 5 Reserves')
Click the 'Reserve' option - Login*
- Click 'OK'
- 'Collect At' | select a location
- Click the 'Reserve' button
- To be register for via email or SMS notification please Email: library@cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au or call a branch.
You will be notified when the item is ready for pick-up | $1.50 is paid on pick-up | Not available for reservations - CDs and magazines | Reserve items in person, by phone, email or online.

Cancelling Reservations
Cancelling reservations (before notification) means that you will not have to pay $1.50 for titles you no longer need.
To cancel requests:
- Login*
- Click 'Reserves'
- Tick box next to title
- Click the 'Delete' button
