Please Note: The course is only open to residents from the City of Sydney Council local government area and those residents of suburbs on the City’s borders. The course is ongoing, running over six consecutive weeks and is open to dogs 5 months to ten years of age. The courses are held in Sydney Park, St Peters, Federal Park, Glebe, Ward Park, Surry Hills and Rushcutters Bay Park in Rushcutters Bay.

Courses are offered on Saturday mornings and Wednesday afternoons in Sydney Park, early Saturday afternoon and Wednesday afternoons in Federal Park, Thursday mornings in Ward Park and Tuesday mornings in Rushcutters Bay Park.

Pet ownership makes an enormous difference in people's lives, and parks where the public can gather with their pets draw people together, build community and break down isolation. The majority of pet owners are responsible, and these public education programs are an opportunity to learn more about companion animal ownership. The City is working to encourage responsible pet ownership and promote harmonious and equitable access to public parks for all residents.

Bookings

Places are limited. Contact Procanine directly to express your interest in attending the course. The Procanine staff will then process and confirm your booking.
