Cook + Phillip Park is a unique public facility combining a state-of-the-art indoor aquatic, fitness and recreation centre with a green and tranquil parkland setting in the heart of the Sydney CBD.

Centre facilities include:

  • heated leisure pool with wave machine and rapid river run
  • hydrotherapy pool
  • fitness centre
  • indoor multi-purpose court
  • children’s play area
  • café.

Parkland features include:

  • College Street terrace
  • Boomerang walk
  • café terrace
  • grassed park terraces.

Hyde Park

Hyde Park

Between Elizabeth and College Streets
Sydney NSW 2000

A leafy oasis in the CBD, Hyde Park has been a favourite Sydney recreation area since 1792. The park began its life as the city’s first racecourse and later became its first cricket ground. Today, Hyde Park provides a tranquil setting for general relaxation and lunchtime picnics. An avenue of giant fig trees run through the middle of the park from north to south.

Highlights of Hyde Park North include:

Martin Place

Martin Place
