Orphan School Creek

Orphan School Creek located on the border between Forest Lodge and Camperdown is a restored natural creek created and maintained to provide native habitat for local flora and fauna. A footpath leads down to the Creek from Bridge Road then follows the dry creek to Wigram Road. Foot paths also provide pedestrian access from Hereford Street and Foss Street to Stirling Crescent located above the Creek.

Above the northern section of the Creek off Wood Street the City is remediating land and constructing a children’s playground suitable for younger age children, in sympathy with the surrounding native landscape.
