Wynyard Park

Wynyard Park located above Wynyard train station is popular lunch time location for City office workers. The park contains grass lawns with perimeter garden beds with ample shaded seating beneath mature evergreens and palms. A memorial statue to John Dunmore Lang is situated within the southern lawn area. An automated public toilet is located on the pavement outside the park on York Street and public toilets are also available at Wynyard Station below.

Regimental Square, located adjacent across Wynyard Street is a landscaped civic open space containing a memorial water feature, a wall of remembrance and public seating.

The triangular shaped Lang Park located at the junction of York and Grosvenor Streets features a shaded grass lawn surrounded by mature Figs. The park contains The Nolan memorial fountain, a commemorative gas lamp and a number of memorial plaques. An automated public toilet is located on the footpath adjacent to the park on York Street.
