Programs
Songbird Calling
A compilation CD produced at 'Studio RCC' and offers a remarkable cross-section of sounds, stories and personalities. It features the songs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists connected to the local area, who have been making good use of studio and music programs available at Redfern Community Centre since it first opened in 2004.
More information is available for download.
Hugo & Vine
A Studio RCC live music event in May 2011 focused on the music and artistic world of Redfern, celebrating its unique and enduring role as a 'meeting place' and its broad cultural and social diversity.
Hugo & Vine will be held each year and the bar has been set high by the inaugral one! It featured performances from Eora Tafe music students, local artists - variously professional, emerging and community-based - and RCC music program regulars. Highlights included Marcus Corowa, Tim Gray and friends from Eora, Aunty Marlene Cummins with Rex Goh and Murray Cook (pictured), Aunty Rhonda Dixon and the Koori Country Connection, Arne Hanna and Jess Green with Pre-Loved, and local Bosnian guitarist Samir Cos.
