The City of Sydney is committed to providing extensive waste and recycling services to help reduce household waste sent to landfill. As a community we currently divert about 32% of our waste from landfill. We need to work together to increase this figure - by avoiding waste, reusing and recycling more.

Why recycle?

- increases the life span of materials
- reduces greenhouse gas emissions
- saves landfill space
