This stunning showcase of contemporary sculpture by Indigenous artists features unique portrayals of a wide range of animals. Brought to you by Object and the Australian Museum and bringing together artists from every state and territory in Australia, this is an exhibition that will appeal to young and old alike.

Join Menagerie artists Marina Murdilinga and Penny Milingu Wanapuyngu from Arnhem Land and Vicki West from Tasmania as they collaborate with Sydney based designer Lucy Simpson and other local artists in a day-long outdoor sculptural weaving demonstration. View the weaving activities, ask questions of the participants and purchase woven items, including bags, baskets and small sculptures made by Indigenous artists. This demonstration is presented by Object Gallery and the Australian Museum in association with the Menagerie exhibition.
