Visitation to the village tends to be biased towards the weekends, when many people come for attractions such as the weekly Glebe Markets. There is currently a low supply of visitor accommodation in the area.

Future Outlook

The Glebe Point Road village is a well-established urban area, and as such growth in the resident population and workforce is expected to be only moderate. However several large-scale residential developments in the area will contribute to continued growth. One of the main residential developments within the village is the Harold Park development, located in Forest Lodge, which is expected to contain 1,250 residences to provide homes for approximately 2,500 people upon completion in 2017.
