Customs House is a multipurpose venue which opens out onto a wide public forecourt (Customs House Square). It is an ideal space to hire for outdoor events or installations that require an exciting ambience in a high profile part of Sydney.
The square is typically hired out for activities involving event-orientated promotions or the use of large structures. Located in the heart of Circular Quay, the landmark building and its forecourt are seen by a broad demographic. It is on the doorstep of business professionals during the week and families visiting the harbour on weekends and is easily accessible by train, bus, taxi and car.

Spaces
Venue hire includes exclusive access to the building's balcony, boardroom, pre-function lounge and grand function area (the Barnet Long Room). These 4 spaces are interconnected.

Audio visual facilities available in the Barnet Long Room include:

- sound system with lectern and microphone, wireless and wired microphones, laptop/ipod audio
- ISDN, broadband and phone lines
- 3-phase power
- dimmable room and stage lighting
- automated blinds for blackout.
