Colouring Competition Terms & Conditions

2008 Colouring In Competition

  1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry.
  2. Entry is only open to children who are 12 years of age or younger.
    Entries need to be received by 5pm, Friday 21/11/08.

    Entries should clearly addressed in the post to:

  3. Only one entry can be made per person.
  4. The winner will chosen be judged on creativity and effort. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  5. Entries close at 5pm AEST on Friday 21/11/08. No responsibility will be accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
  6. The competition will be judged by a panel on Monday 24/11/08 at The City of Sydney, Town Hall House, 456 Kent Street NSW 2000.
  7. The Winner will be notified by phone on Monday 24/11/08. The winner's name will be published on the City of Sydney Christmas website www.sydneychristmas.com.au on Tuesday 25 November 2008. The individual whose name is placed on the entry form (printed or online) will be issued with the prizes.
  8. Prizes - The winner will receive: 1) the chance to join the MC and Sydney Lord Mayor, Clover Moore MP to light the Christmas tree at the Christmas Concert in Martin Place on Thursday 27 November 2008 2) a gift chosen by City of Sydney to the value of approx. $100.  
  9. In the event that for any reason the prize winner does not redeem their prize by on Thursday 27 November the prize will be forfeited.
  10. Entries posted in as part of the competition will become the property of City of Sydney and by entering this promotion, unless otherwise advised, each entrant also agrees that the Promoter will use this information and/or image in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant. Entrants' personal information may be disclosed to the relevant State lottery department and winners' names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the City at their address set out below.
