The City of Sydney has won an important case in the Land and Environment Court to protect heritage-listed Hamilton and The Abbey on Bridge Road, Glebe. Justice Lloyd upheld the City’s decision to refuse an application to demolish Hamilton, to insert three additional commercial floors into The Abbey, and to erect 21 new residential units on the site.
