Ultimo Community Centre
Suitable for indoor and outdoor gatherings, community meetings and conferences, the centre is a multifunction venue with various rooms, halls for hire and an open space courtyard. Entry is via the Bulwara Road entrance.
It is available for hire Monday to Friday from 10am to 8pm and on weekends from 10am to 4pm.
Dimensions
Four rooms are available for hire with varying dimensions:
- Jack Byrne Hall: 20 metres by 12 metres
- Littlebridge room: 14 metres by 10 metres
- The 2 seminar rooms are both 8 metres by 5.5 metres.
Capacity
Jack Byrne Hall:
- reception: 150 people
- meeting/seminar: 200 people
- concert: 180 people.
Littlebridge room:
- reception/party: 80 people
- meeting/seminar: 120 people
- concert: 100 people.
Seminar rooms 1 and 2:
- meeting: 20 people.

- 20 table tops (each seating 4-6 people)
- 160 chairs
- lift
- microphone
- overhead projectors
- television and video player
- whiteboards
- air-conditioning
- chair and table trolley.
Facilities
- industrial kitchen in the Littlebridge Room
- kitchenette adjacent to seminar rooms.
Special Considerations
- Noise needs to be kept to a minimum, residential area.
- Curtains need to be kept closed in the evening.
- Additional cleaning can be arranged.
- Some functions may require security.
- The centre is a non-alcoholic and non-smoking venue.
Accessibility
Lift access and accessible toilets on two levels.
Transport and parking
- Central and Town Hall stations are within walking distance.
- Bus route 501 stops on Harris Street, near William Henry Street.
- Limited 2-hour parking.
- parking station at Darling Harbour.
Hire fees
Hall hire:
- Residents: $31 per hour
- Non-residents: $67 per hour.
Room hire:
- Residents: $31 per hour
- Non-residents: $42 per hour.
