Community services grants
Application closed
The City of Sydney sponsors a wide variety of projects and initiatives. Priority is given to activities that help support Sustainable Sydney 2030.
The Community Services Grants Program provides funding opportunities over $5,000 to community organisations that work in or for the local area. These community organisations provide significant benefits to the community through the development and delivery of activities or resources. The work they undertake helps meet the needs of our diverse community, in particular the needs of more disadvantaged residents.
General policy eligibility and exclusions apply.
Applications for this program are invited once a year.
Applications for this year closed on Tuesday 2 April 2013.
How to apply
All applications are assessed against the grant criteria and in accordance with the City's grants and sponsorship policy (download below).
Before you get started get in touch with us to make sure your project is eligible. If you are seeking a grant of more than $20,000 it is recommended you meet with City staff to discuss your application before it is submitted.
The grants team are very happy to provide advice and support to all grants applicants but we cannot proof read draft applications.
