Creative spaces

Following the success of the City’s creative spaces program on Oxford Street, two Council-owned properties at 101-111 and 113-115 William Street have been turned into affordable work spaces.

The top floor of 101-111 William Street has a diverse group of creative organisations including Romance Was Born, Andrew Donaldson, Architecture & Design, *asterix, Aileen Sage Architects and Archrival.

An open plan studio and office shared by the tenants can also be used to host events, including a creative lecture series, pop-up art exhibitions and fashion runway shows.

Also onsite are Cloth Fabric and HUB Sydney – an innovative, international co-working community.

The fitout of six one-bedroom apartments with affordable live/work spaces for creative is underway, and a new basement small bar is set to open later this year.
