The Stephen Wiltshire art exhibition is now open at Custom House (Circular Quay).
From 27 April, Stephen Wiltshire an artist with an extraordinary talent will draw an image of Sydney, which he will do from memory following a climb up Sydney Harbour Bridge. You will be able to buy a copy of his drawing by clicking here - proceeds of the sale of this limited edition run will go to Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect).
Stephen has been invited by Aspect to coincide with Autism Month. His visit has been made possible by major sponsors the NSW Human Services department of Aging, Disability & Home Care, and British Airways.
Stephen Wiltshire is an internationally renowned artist who draws and paints detailed cityscapes. He has a particular talent for drawing lifelike, accurate representations of cities, sometimes after having only observed them briefly.

Details of Stephen's visit
What Stephen will be doing: Completing an A0 size drawing of Sydney from memory in public view.
When: Stephen's exhibition opened to the general public from 19 and due to popular demand has been extended to 16 May 2010. Stephen will commence his drawing of Sydney on 27 April in the afternoon.
Venue: Customs House, Circular Quay
Admission: Free (donations welcomed)
Time: Customs House is open from 8am - Midnight - the exhibition will be open to the public at all times until 15 May.
Purchase artworks: Copies of the artworks Stephen exhibits, including the piece he will create in Sydney will be available for sale, with the majority of the proceeds going to Aspect. Click here to purchase a copy (including pre-purchasing a print of the drawing he will complete in Sydney.
There are currently 14 prints of Stephen's drawings from around the world on display at Customs House. These framed pieces will be personally signed by Stephen while he is in Sydney.
