Sydney Park Plan of Management

Given the location, accessibility and relatively large size of Sydney Park it performs an important regional recreation role as well as service the local community. This regional role was recognised by the Department of Planning (DoP) at the time it purchased the site.

A Plan of Management (PoM) is a document that identifies issues affecting community land and provides a means to control future use, development and maintenance of that land in accordance with the requirements of the Local Government Act.
