Developer Contributions

There are three current Development Contributions Plans operating in the City of Sydney Local Government Area. 

These are:

  1. City of Sydney Section 61 Contributions (Amendment) Plan 2002;
  2. City of Sydney Ultimo Pyrmont Section 94 Contributions Plan 1994; and
  3. City of Sydney Section 94 Contributions Plan 2006

These plans apply to development where Council and the Central Sydney Planning Committee are the consent authority. The map below indicates where each Contributions Plan operates:

No development can be subject to more than one Contributions Plan.

Contribution Payment Information

Development Contribution rates may be adjusted when payment is due in accordance with the relevant Contributions Plan. Prior to making any payment for Section 94 or Section 61, you must contact:

The Planning Assessment Unit will then provide you with written confirmation of the amount payable. Please bring in your confirmation letter with your payment.
