Central Sydney contributions plan

Building projects in the city centre that are expected to exceed $200,000 in development costs must make cash contributions to the City amounting to 1% of the expected total development costs before a construction certificate or complying development certificate can be released.

Information applicants need to provide

For developments expected to cost between $150,000 and $3 million a City Cost Summary Report needs to be completed and submitted, which can be downloaded below.

When the expected cost will exceed $3 million a City Registered Quantity Surveyor's Detailed Cost Report must be completed and submitted, which can be downloaded below.

A copy of the construction certificate or CDC plans must be submitted along with the Cost Summary Report. Please take care when submitting Cost Summary or Quantity Surveyor reports to ensure that all information is included and correct to avoid delays.
