North Rosebery Precinct
Draft planning controls
North Rosebery Precinct is an 18 hectare site within the Green Square urban renewal area and like some other areas south of the City it has been undergoing a change in character from light industrial and commercial, to predominantly residential.
The planning controls aim to promote a vibrant new residential neighbourhood with cafés, ground floor shops and a new park. The site is generally bound by Epsom Road, Dalmeny Avenue, Kimberley Grove and Rothschild Avenue.
The draft planning proposal seeks to amend building heights, floor-space ratio and heritage controls in the Sydney Local Environmental Plan 2012.
The supporting draft amendment to the Sydney Development Control Plan 2012 provides detailed controls including minimum setbacks, heights in storeys and the public domain design. The plans, available for download below, were previously on public exhibition.
