This planning proposal seeks to amend the land use controls for the Sydney Fish Market in the Sydney Local Environmental Plan 2012. The proposed amendments to the planning controls are as follows:
- Adding 'warehouse or distribution centre' to the permitted with consent list in the land use table for the B3 commercial core zone which applies to the land.
- Amending the floor-space ratio control from 1:1 to 2.5:1 to reflect the approved master plan for the Sydney Fish Market.
The proposal and associated documents are available for download below. The proposal was previously on exhibition and submissions closed on 4 March 2013.
In July 2013, Council and the Central Sydney Planning Committee endorsed the planning proposal. It has been sent to the NSW Government to be finalised.
