Special Notice - Exempt & Complying Development

State Environmental Planning Policy (Exempt and Complying Development Codes) 2008 (the Codes SEPP) specifies exempt and complying development. The Codes SEPP has state-wide application and commenced on 27 February 2009. Consequently, exempt development provisions, for development types listed in the Codes SEPP, will no longer apply in the following:

  • Central Sydney DCP 1996 – Part 13
  • Leichhardt DCP No.35 Exempt & Complying Development
  • South Sydney DCP Exempt & Complying Development 1999 
  • SEPP 60 – Ultimo Pyrmont
