What do Watershed Volunteers do?

Volunteer

Volunteers work with the community and local businesses to move towards a more sustainable environment.

They are involved in a wide range of activities supporting the Green Living Centre programs including:

  • Research
  • Planning, implementing and reporting on projects and activities
  • Developing and distributing resources to local businesses/residents
  • Greeting visitors and answering enquiries
  • Designing & delivering education activities with staff
  • Representing the Green Living Centre at festivals and events,
  • Participating in training and networking activities

Many volunteer opportunities are mid to long term and involve an ongoing commitment. Volunteer roles are negotiated on an individual basis.
